Tampers are tools used to pack (or “tamp”) espresso grounds into the basket of an espresso machine. The purpose of a tamper is to pack the grounds evenly for a quality shot. These espresso tampers are made with solid FDA food grade stainless steel. They are 58 mm diameter and it weighs 10.5 oz. They are the common size for home espresso machines.
